  • March 2007- Lee Rosenberg attended the mid-winter meeting of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. aaml
  • April 2007-Bill Saltzman was honored by the Nassau County Bar Association for his 50 years of practice.
  • April 2007-Eve F. Helitzer became an associate with the firm. Eve is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law.
  • June 2007-Michael Chetkof completed the Appellate Division's Certified Court Examiner's program.
  • June 2007-Lee Rosenberg was notified of his inclusion in the 2008 edition of Who's Who in America.
  • July 2007-Lee Rosenberg became 2nd Vice Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Matrimonial Committee. 
  • July 2007-Danielle N. Leeser, a recent graduate of Hofstra University Law School joined the firm as a law clerk. She previously interned with one of the Justices of the Nassau County Supreme Court.
  • August 2007- Part 1 of Lee Rosenberg's article on establishing jurisdiction over non-residents in matrimonial cases was published in the September 2007 issue of NY Family Law Monthly.
  • September 6, 2007- The firm attended the dedication of new plaques at the home of the Nassau County Bar Association. We are among those who have plaques honoring the Bar Association's 75th year.
  • September 2007- National Business Institute announced its seminar entitled "Preventing Critical Mistakes During Divorce" at which Lee Rosenberg will be lecturing. The seminar will be held on December 3, 2007 and information may be obtained at www.nbi-sems.com www.nbi-sems.com.
  • September 12, 2007- Michael Chetkof was sworn in by Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division Second Department, Hon. Gail A. Prudenti, as a Court Examiner in Artilce 81 Guardianship matters.
  • September 23, 2007- Lee Rosenberg was listed in the New York Metro area family law "Super Lawyers" section in the New York Times Sunday Magazine. www.superlawyers.com
  • September 24, 2007- Bill Saltzman presented a continuing legal education seminar entitled "Basic Residential Real Estate" to the Nassau Lawyers Association. www.nassaulawyersassociation.com
  • October 2007- Part 2 of Lee Rosenberg's article on establishing jurisdiction over non-residents in matrimonial cases was published in the October 2007 issue of NY Family Law Monthly.
  • October 9, 2007- Lee Rosenberg's article "On Matrimony, the Miller Commission, Legislative Failure" was published in the New York Law Journal.
  • October 11, 2007- Lee Rosenberg was an invited participant at the Forum on No-Fault Divorce presented by the NYS Office of Court Administration Office of Matrimonial and Family Law Study and Reform and chaired by Hon. Sondra D. Miller.
  • October 17, 2007- Michael Chetkof presented a seminar before the NY Family Law American Inn of Court entitled "Respect and Civility: A Method to Employ to Prevent the Undermining of the Integrity of the American Legal System"
  • November 2007- Lee Rosenberg attended the annual meeting of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in Chicago, Illinois.
  • November 2007- Associate Eve Helitzer celebrated her one year anniversary with the firm.
  • November 2007- Law Clerk Danielle Leeser passed the New York State Bar Examination and is awaiting her admission as an attorney.
  • December 3, 2007- Lee Rosenberg lectured for the National Business Institute, addressing the Failure to Understand Asset Types and Ethical Considerations in their seminar entitled "Preventing Critical Financial Mistakes During Divorces".
  • December 2007- Michael Chetkof was invited to join the Installation/Journal Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
  • January 3, 2008- Michael Chetkof was re-certfied for 2008 by the Appellate Division Second Department as a Court Examiner in Artilce 81 Guardianship matters. 
  • January 22, 2008, the Nassau County Family Court's decision in the firm's case H.P.v B.P. , appeared as a "Decision of Interest"  in the New York Law Journal.
  • March 31, 2008- Lee Rosenberg's article, "Same-Sex Marriage: Right to Divorce, but Not to Marry?" appeared in the New York Law Journal.
  • April 9, 2008- Law Clerk Danielle N. Leeser was admitted to the practice of law and officially became an associate with the firm.
  • April 9, 2008- Lee Rosenberg moderated and prepared the materials for the Nassau County Matrimonial Committee seminar "Identity Theft: Protecting Yourself, Your Firm and Your Clients".
  • May 2008- Lee Rosenberg's article "For Whom the Pre-Nup Tolls" was published in New York Family Law Monthly.
  • May 13, 2008- The Nassau County case Brody v Brody, a "Decision of Interest" in the New York Law Journal cited to Lee Rosenberg's "For Whom the Pre-Nup Tolls: Does the New DRL 250 Really Put and End to the Discussion?"
  • June 2008- "The Matrimonial Strategist" included Lee Rosenberg's article on same-sex marriage in its June 2008 publication.
  • June 16, 2008- Michael Chetkof attended the Office of Court Administration Office of Fiduciary Services'  Elder Abuse Training for Court Examiner's program at the Judicial Institute in White Plains, New York.
  • June 16, 2008- Lee Rosenberg was selected to be among attorneys meeting with the New York State Legislature on the issue of no-fault divorce in Albany, New York and participated in the subsequent forum presented by the NYS Office of Court Adminstration's Office of Matrimonial Study and Reform. 
  • July 2008- Lee Rosenberg was invited to join the formation committee of a potential Matrimonial Mediation Program in the Nassau County Matrimonial Part which is designed to advance the interests of litigants and children by providing them with an option of  alternative dispute resolution in their divorce case.
  • September 2008- "An Update on Prenuptial and No-Fault Divorce Legislation" by Lee Rosenberg was published in New York Family Law Monthly and his article "Tolling the Statute of Limitations on Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements: The Third (and Last) Version of DRL 250" was published in the New York State Bar Association's Family Law Review.
  • September 9, 2008- Brynne C. Holt, a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law joined the firm as a law clerk.
  • September 28, 2008- Lee Rosenberg was included among the New York Metropolitan area "superlawyers" in Family Law in the New York Times Magazine section.
  • October 2, 2008- Lee Rosenberg was admitted as a Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
  • October 7, 2008- Julie Tumminello, a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law joined the firm as a law clerk.
  • October 21, 2008- Lee Rosenberg co-presented and provided materials for a lecture to the NY Family Law American Inn of Court entitled "A Judicial View: Elements of Proof to Present Upon Applications for Maintenence, Counsel Fees and Exclusive Occupancy Pendente Lite or After Trial" 
  • Law Clerks, Brynne Holt and Julie Tumminello, both passed the New York State Bar Examination.
