WILLIAM B. SALTZMAN has been counseling clients for over 50 years and is a partner of the firm. He is a member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations. He is a member of the Senior Attorneys Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and Past President of the Nassau Lawyers Association for which he is also General Counsel. He has lectured frequently on commercial and business law issues and serves as Counsel for Continuing Legal Education for the Nassau Lawyers Association. Mr. Saltzman is "AV" peer-review rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating given for legal ability and ethics.
Mr. Saltzman specializes in commercial and business law and litigation, commercial and residential real estate and business transactions, wills, trust and estate law as well as personal injury litigation, corporate and partnership matters. Mr. Saltzman has respresented a variety of financial institutions, manufacturers, physicians, customs house brokers, recreational, waste management and other businesses, including Barclays Bank of New York, Astro Moving and Storage, Stereo Headquarters, Photonics Inc, Four-Way Pallet Corp, Spiegel Yacht Sales, and the Estate of Samuel J. Kellner. He also handles boating and maritime issues, having been Past Commodore of the Greater Huntington Council of Yacht and Boating Clubs, Inc., a member of the Town of Huntington Harbor and Boating Advisors Council and counsel for the Huntington Yacht Club.

MICHAEL CHETKOF is a partner of the firm. He is a seasoned trial attorney and negotiator, who has litigated hundreds of cases and settled hundreds more. Well respected by the bench and bar, his practice has included complex matrimonial, personal injury, commercial and insurance defense matters. He has also handled criminal matters including the successful defense of a murder case and other felony matters. Mr. Chetkof tried and won one of the first equitable distribution cases addressing the valuation and distribution of a law practice and has sucessfully tried countless custody, visitation, enforcement, support, relocation, and equitable distribution cases. He was attorney of record for a liability insurance carrier for nearly ten years and as a plaintiff's attorney has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts.
Mr. Chetkof was admitted to practice in 1964 and is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of New York State Bar Association, the Matrimonial Bar Association of Suffolk County, the Matrimonial Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, and the Matrimonial Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association. He previously taught business law at the State University of New York at Farmingdale. He is "AV" peer-review rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available. He has served as an Arbitrator in the Supreme Court, Nassau County as part of the Early Neutral Evaluation Program. Mr. Chetkof is also a Barrister of the New York Family Law American Inn of Court and serves as an Arbitrator for the Office of Court Administration's Matrimonial Fee Dispute Panel. He is a Certified Court Evaluator and is Certifiied by the Appellate Division Second Department as a Court Examiner in Guardianship proceedings. He is also admitted to the bar of the District of Columbia.
In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr. Chetkof has served on the Board of Directors of the Commack Jewish Center as well as being its attorney and was a member of Board of Managers of Lido Beach Towers. He was also a local Chancellor Commander and 15th District Deputy Grand Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias.

LEE ROSENBERG is a partner at Saltzman Chetkof & Rosenberg LLP and was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1987. He is a Fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys AAML and of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers IAML. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association Matrimonial Committee and a Barrister of the New York Family Law American Inn of Court. In addition, Lee is a member of the Family Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, as well as the Matrimonial Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association. He serves as an Arbitrator for the Office of Court Administration's Matrimonial Fee Dispute Panel and is also a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
Lee is a trial and appellate litigator of over 20 years with experience in all phases of matrimonial and family law practice. This includes the trial of complex custody, support and equitable distribution matters as well as the important ability to settle these cases and the drafting of intricate prenuptial, postnuptial, separation and settlement agreements. "AV" peer-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Lee is a prolific writer and frequent lecturer. He has lectured on complex divorce issues and ethical considerations to other attorneys, is listed in the Millennium Edition of Strathmore's Who's Who and has served as consultant to out-of-state law firms in the area of New York matrimonial practice. He has been interviewed on the subject of New York divorce law by the New York Times, the New York Law Journal, Newsday, Elle and by Worth Magazine and served as a non-judicial participant at the Miller Commission Symposium on Improving Justice for Children of Divorce and Separation. A frequently published author, his articles on various topics in matrimonial law have appeared in the New York Law Journal, Family Law Review, the New York State Bar Association Journal, Nassau Lawyer, The Matrimonial Strategist, and New York Family Law Monthly. He is Co-Editor of the Nassau County Bar Association's Recent Decisions in Matrimonial Law. He is a member of the Board of Editors of the New York Family Law Monthly. He is Assistant Editor of the Family Law Review published by the New York State Bar Association. He is also the General Editor of LexisNexis' New York Consolidated Laws Service Family/Matrimonial Practice Insights and authored many of the Practice Insights as well as having authored the Filing and Drafting Tips for Lexis Nexis' New York Family Law Forms. Lee has been honored by LexisNexis for his service as General Editor of their Family/Matrimonial Practice Insights, and was selected as one of the Ten Leaders in Matrimonial and Family Law for Long Island under the age of 45. He continues to be listed as part of the New York Super Lawyers superlawyers.com as appeared in the New York Times and is listed in the 2008 edition of Who's Who in America. Lee has served on the formation committee which established a pilot program in Nassau County Supreme Court Matrinonial Part to commence oral argument of temporary support applications in emergency situations and the formation committee which has established a program entitled "View From the Bench: A Series of Exchanges Between the Matrimonial Bench and Bar". He also sits on a new committee designed to offer mediation and neutral case evaluation alternatives to litigants in the Nassau County Matrimonial Center.

BRYNNE CHERISE HOLT is a law clerk for the firm having graduated from Hofstra University School of Law and sat for the July 2008 New York State Bar Examination. While at Hofstra, Brynne represented abused and neglected children in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Family Courts as part of the Child Advocacy Clinic supervised by Professor Andrew Sheppard. She also clerked as an extern for a Supreme Court Justice in the Nassau County Matrimonial Center, was a representative of Hofstra Law Women and a member of the Black Law Students Association. Brynne received her undergraduate degree in linguistics from Duke University while also studying abroad in France and Spain. She speaks both Spanish and French.

JULIE TUMMINELLO is a law clerk for the firm who sat for the July 2008 New York State Bar Examination. Julie graduated cum laude from Hofstra University and then obtained her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. She has served as an intern for a United States District Court Judge. She has condcuted hearings before the U.S. Department of Labor as part of Hofstra Law School's Unemployment Action Center and served as a law guradian for abused and neglected children in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Family Courts as part of Hofstra's Child Advocacy Clinic. During law school, Julie also worked as a law clerk in the area of matrimonial and family law assisting counsel of record in all phases of practice.

Michelle Petzolt is a certified paralegal who has been with the firm for over seven years. Michelle has an MBA from the University of Phoenix and also a Bachelors Degree from Five Towns College where she studied management and other aspects of the music business. She supervises the office staff and serves as the office administrator in addition to providing services in the matrimonial, estates and general litigation areas. Michelle participates in the C.A.S.A. program in Suffolk County Family Court as a court appointed advocate for neglected children.

Homer Liwanag, has been a certified paralegal for over seventeen years, obtaining his cerification from Adelphi University after graduating with a B.S. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Oneonta. He has been the senior paralegal and office manager at several law offices prior to coming to Saltzman Chetkof & Rosenberg LLP. Homer has experience in a wide variety of fields including personal injury, matrimonial, real estate and criminal law.
